2018 ELHOA March Newsletter
At our last general meeting, Richard
Groux declined to run again for a position on our board. He's been a part of
the ELHOA for 13 years, and we all wish him and his snowbirding activities
well. Heather Siemienski ran instead, and was unanimously elected. She also
agreed to take on the responsibilities of the Treasurer's position.

Danielle Zinn made it known after the
meeting that she would be stepping down. Gene Ermlick indicated he was
interested in serving on the board, and was elected to fill out her term. He
will also head Lakes and Trails.

In other business, please let us
know if you find any large, downed tree limbs across our trails. We have a firm
that can deal with these problems quickly, as they arise.

We're still receiving complaints
about homeowners not cleaning up after dogs they've taken for walks around our
lakes. Please, let's all remember that the use of the trails is both our
privilege, and our responsibility. And while on the subject: let's remember to
leash dogs too when outside our homes, or not behind electronic fences.

Although we've just started March,
that's no guarantee of good weather--in fact, the opposite is usually the case
for us. So keep in mind, icy roads and snowy conditions make it harder to
handle the sudden appearance of joggers, or deer. That especially holds true
for our blind road bend at River Styx.

Spring is probably another month
away, but we've received a suggestion asking homeowners to please refrain from
blowing leaves into the streets. When you finally decide to start your yard
work for the year, consider bagging them for easy, eco-friendly disposal.

Finally, although we're still in
winter, the Medina County Bookmobile continues to come to us! Barring any
unforeseen issues, you can visit it between 5:45 pm and 6:15 pm in front of
6041 Emerald Lakes Drive.
